“Congratulations to Joe Biden for winning the US presidential election and Camila Harris for his historic achievement,” Johnson tweeted. He added that he hopes to work together “from climate change to trade and security.”
Angela Merkel emphasized: “The American citizens have made a decision. Joe Biden will become the 46th President of the United States of America. I wish him happiness and success from the bottom of my heart and congratulate Kamala Harris, who was elected Vice President of his country”.
Justin Trudeau also wrote on the social network that he is waiting for the start of joint work with the newly elected president of the United States. “Our countries are close friends, partners and allies. The nature of our relationship is unique compared to the rest of the world,” Trudeau said.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Democratic candidate Joe Biden on his victory in the presidential race. “Ukraine is optimistic about the future of the strategic partnership with the United States,” Zelensky wrote.
