Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy began a working trip to the Donetsk region, where there are now around a hundred deputies from his Servants of the People party. This was reported by the press service of the head of state on Thursday, October 22.

It is indicated that Zelensky will familiarize himself with the status of implementation of the Large Construction Program in the region.

The president will participate in the opening ceremony of the sports facility and will discuss the prospects for the development of sport in our country with prominent Ukrainian athletes, ”the statement said.

In addition, the Office of the President released a video of how Zelensky opened a new ice rink in Mariupol, where the Donbass hockey club will play.

Earlier it was reported that the people’s deputies of the People’s Servant spent the night in Donbass in shelters and bunkers. This was stated by the head of the faction David Arakhamia. Also, the deputies visited the army positions. Arahamia added that many have opened their eyes to what is happening.
