The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky appointed Tatyana Rudenko as a member of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Office of the President.

The corresponding decree was issued on Tuesday, May 12.

“Appoint Rudenko Tatyana Sergeevna as a member of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Broadcasting,” says decree no. 171/2020.

Recall, April 15, Vladimir Zelensky appointed Elena Nitsko a member of the National Council.

Furthermore, Vladimir Zelensky introduced Yuri Zinevich and Valentin Koval to the National Council. The decrees on his appointment were published on March 5.

We add that in early April, Verkhovna Rada’s committee on humanitarian and information policy recommended that parliament recognize the National Council’s work on television and radio broadcast in 2019 as unsatisfactory.

It was pointed out that, according to the Nationalrad Law, if the work of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting is declared unsatisfactory, Parliament can reject half of its composition.
