During negotiations with US President Joe Biden, Volodymyr Zelenskyy outlined his vision of how the country can provide assistance to Kiev.
The deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Igor Zhovkva, spoke about this in an interview with LB.ua. According to him, in response, the American leader assured that our country would not be left alone.
“We discussed the latest exacerbation in Donbass. The president of Ukraine outlined his vision of how the United States can help Ukraine in this situation. Assurances were received that the United States would not leave our country alone,” Zhovkva said.
He added that at the beginning of the conversation, the head of the White House assured that the conversation would be significant.
According to him, the heads of state also referred to the occupation of Crimea and the participation of the United States in the summit on the Crimean platform.
Zhovkva is convinced that the main thing in the talks is a signal from the United States that Washington will not allow anyone to attack Ukraine with impunity.
As OBOZREVATEL reported, the first talks between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine, Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelensky, took place on April 2, during which the American leader expressed his unwavering support for Ukraine in the context of Russian aggression.
