At the Zaporozhye Automobile Construction Plant, the Renault Arkana automobile assembly of Russian automobile assemblies was launched.
The Zaporozhye Automobile Construction Plant (ZAZ) has launched serial production of Renault Arkana coupe-crossovers from Russian car sets. This was reported by the press service of ZAZ.
Kits for Assemblies The cars will be supplied from the Renault group’s Moscow plant, according to the statement.
Renault Arkana is the first Renault model in Ukraine with a 150 hp turbo gasoline engine. The car is equipped with a new-generation X-Tronic CVT automatic transmission and an intelligent four-wheel drive system, the press service added.
The price of a car starts from 468 thousand UAH.

On 10 September it became known that ZAZ signed an agreement on the assembly of Renault passenger cars. The cars will be produced for the domestic market at the plant’s facilities.
ZAZ is a large automobile manufacturer in Ukraine. The company manufactures cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses. The plant’s production capacity allows it to produce 150,000 cars a year, according to the plant’s website.
Groupe Renault has been manufacturing cars since 1898 and is represented in 134 countries. In 2019, the group sold 3.8 million vehicles. The company’s portfolio includes the brands Renault, Dacia, Renault Samsung Motors, Alpine.
