Later, when Serbia reacted to its post, Zakharova apologized.

Vucic himself reacted to Zakharova’s comparison. In an interview with Serbian radio Pink, he said about the “primitivism and vulgarity” displayed by the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, as well as about his employers. The Serbian president indicated that he would not respond. He stressed that his country is the only one that has not introduced anti-Russian sanctions, and the only one that conducts military exercises with the Russian Federation.
Marko Djurić, Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija of the Government of Serbia set on Twitter that Zakharova “should be ashamed.”
