The head of the Servants of the People faction, David Arakhamia, believes that the people’s deputy, Alexander Yurchenko, accused of taking bribes, should resign. Arakhamia also considers it necessary to hold a speedy and open trial against Yurchenko.

He stated it on the air of “Hard with Vlaschenko” on the TV channel “Ukraine 24”.

“I think he should leave his term. He is a majority deputy, most of the city of Kiev voted for him, but we cannot force him,” Arahamia said.

He noted that an open trial is necessary.

“If he is guilty, I think he should be put behind bars as soon as possible,” Arahamia added.

We will remember, previously published materials by NABU of the criminal case, in which they want to declare suspicions to the Yurchenko People’s Deputy. He is accused of taking bribes for making changes to invoices.

Yurchenko himself has already announced his withdrawal from the Servant of the People faction. Such a decision by President Volodymyr Zelensky is considered appropriate.

As RBC-Ukraine wrote, the court took into custody with the possibility of bail of 1.5 million hryvnia, the “assistant” of Yurchenko in this case.
