The deputy director of the Office of the President, Yulia Kovaliv, left office. The head of the parliamentary finance committee, deputy of the People’s Servant, Daniil Getmantsev, wrote about this on the Telegram channel.

«This is definitely a strong bond. Hopefully it’s not from the team. Otherwise, sadness ”, he commented.

On his Facebook, Kovaliv confirmed his resignation.

«It was an incredible experience and a great responsibility at a difficult time for the country. During this time we were able to do a lot: we launched the opportunity for the Ukrainians to freely dispose of their land, we started transparent auctions for the privatization of state property and the sale of permits for the use of the subsoil, we concluded the first concession agreements and approved a new concessions law, we began to liberalize the alcohol industry, passed a law on state support for investment projects and on inland waterway transport, launched a series of credit programs to support micro and small businesses, started large-scale digitization … ”, he recalled.

The Office of the President clarified that Kovaliv resigned of his own free will. The press service said that President Vladimir Zelensky «appreciates Yulia Kovaliv’s high professionalism and focus on results ”, and they were assured that he would remain on their team.

NV turned to Yulia Kovaliv for a comment.

In October, NV sources reported that Yulia Kovaliv could be one of those who will be fired from the Office of the President after the local elections.

Yulia Kovaliv became deputy head of the OP on September 23, 2019. Previously, she held various positions in the government of Volodymyr Groisman, was the first deputy minister of economy and head of the National Investment Council under the presidency of Ukraine.
