The Ministry of Health warned about the need to introduce weekend quarantine

According to the head of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, young people have started to have more difficulties in coping with the coronavirus infection.

Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said young people with coronavirus are experiencing complications. And more and more young patients are facing the infection. The head of the Ministry of Health announced it on the air of the program Freedom of Expression of the ICTV channel on Monday, November 16.

“With the growth of morbidity, we are already seeing complications of cases of the disease in young people, they are very difficult to tolerate the disease,” the minister stressed.

He added that the department warned of the need to introduce the weekend quarantine a week before its introduction.

Additionally, Maxim Stepanov predicted the daily number of COVID-19 infections without quarantine. In his opinion, the incidence of coronavirus infection can reach 30 thousand people per day, which will cause the collapse of the medical system.
