The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry condemned the attack on the Aden airport. Ukraine views the terrorist act as an attempt to assassinate members of Yemen’s legitimate government, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Oleg Nikolenko said, according to the ministry’s press service.
“We regard this terrorist act as an attempt to assassinate members of the legitimate and internationally recognized government of Yemen. The attack is aimed at undermining efforts, particularly within the framework of the implementation of the Riyadh agreement, to stabilize the security situation, political and humanitarian in Yemen, “said Nikolenko.
The ministry also expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and wished them a speedy recovery.
Recall that on December 30 there were two explosions at the Yemeni airport in Aden simultaneously with the arrival of the new government at the airport. The bombings killed at least five people and injured 20 others, and reporter Al Mayadeen pointed to dozens of deaths.
