Roman Yaremchuk, striker for Belgian Ghent and the Ukraine National Team, commented on the possibility of a transfer to Shakhtar:

Note that Roman is a graduate of Lviv “Karpaty”, from where at the age of 12 he transferred to the academy of the capital “Dynamo”. After several years in the Kiev structure, he spent half a season in Alexandria on loan, and then had the opportunity to play in the main team of the “Blue and Whites”.
In total for the “Dynamo” he spent 609 minutes on the field in 11 games, without being marked by effective actions.
In August 2017, Gent bought the Ukrainian forward’s contract for 2 million euros. So far, Yaremchuk has 56 goals and 15 assists in 143 games for the Belgian club. The analytical portal Transfermarkt estimates the 25-year-old player at 13 million euros.
