Ukrainian border guards at the Novotroitskoye checkpoint discovered an original hiding place in which they tried to smuggle money into the territory controlled by the separatists “DPR”. This was reported by the State Border Service on Saturday, November 14.

In both cases, representatives of the State Tax Service seized the funds and drew up administrative protocols under the article on violation of the procedure for the transfer of goods to or from the area of the antiterrorist operation (article 204-3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The sanction of this article provides for the confiscation of said assets and the imposition of a fine of ten to one hundred minimum non-taxable income of citizens.
Let us remind you that now out of seven checkpoints in Donbas, only two actually work. The separatists will unblock traffic only at the Stanytsia Luganskaya and Novotroitskoye checkpoints and only twice a week.
