In Ukraine, those who have not accumulated 15 years of experience will remain without any pension. At the same time, starting in 2022, only those with 29 years of experience will be able to retire at age 60 and at age 63, from 19 to 29 years old. The rest will have to work until age 65 or remain without state pay.
This is established in the law on “Compulsory state pension insurance”. The requirements for retirement at age 65 will not change, but in order to get a well-deserved break on time, you must take up official employment. You can now assess whether you can retire on time.
To do this, calculate in what year you will turn 60 and how much experience you will have at that time. This year it will take 28 years, next year it will take 29 years. The requirements will grow annually in 12 months until reaching 35 years of experience.
If the pension is not enough, you must either officially find a job or save money to pay more, or work for several more years after the age of 60. It is also worth noting that in most European countries the general retirement age is already set. has risen, in Ukraine, despite IMF advice, is not being reviewed.
Before, mothers and fathers with many children, those with 40 years of experience, as well as certain categories of workers (in hazardous jobs) can retire.
As previously reported by OBOZREVATEL, in April the retirement age of women in Ukraine will be raised. They will not work until 59.5 years, but until 60 years.
