The Ministry of Health is widely considering the opening of domestic flights and public transport in Ukraine.
This was stated by the head of the state health services of Ukraine, Viktor Lyashko, on the air of the program “Healthy Policy” UA: Ukrainian Radio on Wednesday, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
“Domestic flights will open when we open public transport, now we are considering this issue in a comprehensive way. When we talk about the resumption of public transport, we are referring to all traffic. Including interregional,” he said.
According to Lyashko, communication between regions will be possible only in cases where both regions meet the security criteria of the epidemic situation.
“You cannot talk about resuming communications between Khmelnitsky and Chernivtsi if Chernivtsi does not meet the criteria defined in the Cabinet decree on a successful epidemic. The regions can resume communication between themselves only if both meet these criteria. The issue of trafficking internal air is also being considered. ” , – he said.
In addition, Lyashko noted that the issue of air traffic with EU countries will be considered, “when will they have air traffic.”
“The EU holds weekly meetings of competent ministers where they consider the issue of resuming the tourist season and resuming flights. Now that they have moved the date of possible resumption to June 15, they say it will not be sooner. And if they open flights, Ukraine also will consider opening air connections with EU countries, “he said.
