Cabinet plans more quarantine mitigation
The Cabinet of Ministers determined the dates of the next stages of the expected mitigation of the quarantine. The government is developing an algorithm to gradually lift the bans.
Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said the government has milestones for quarantine mitigation: this is on May 22, then June 1 and 11, and so on. He said this during a briefing on Wednesday, May 13.
According to him, the ministry has a clear algorithm for removing restrictions, that is, indicators that will affect quarantine mitigation.
“We have also projected dates for these indicators, when we believe we can achieve these indicators. We have milestones that we have developed for ourselves: it’s there on May 22, then June 1, 11, and so on,” Stepanov said.
He noted that a decision regarding the algorithm of the Ministry of Health on the elimination of quarantine will be made at the next Cabinet meeting. Also this week they plan to present the opening of kindergartens.
“We believe we will appeal to the government to approve this through an appropriate resolution,” Stepanov said, adding that a quarantine relief presentation is planned this week.
Recall, on the eve of the Prime Minister said that after May 22 the quarantine will be extended.
