Recently, the WhatsApp messenger has received a variety of features, and developers have recently added a special restriction to combat the spread of erroneous information about the coronavirus.
The latest beta version has revealed several new features at once. First, advanced search mode has emerged to easily find multimedia files like photos, videos, GIFs, links, audio and documents in your correspondence. This feature is under development and can be tested by anyone in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android or iOS. There is no word yet on when it will launch for the public version of the program.
Secondly, there is a new feature that has to do with Automatic Backup. Activating it will automatically download frequently sent images, videos, documents and voice messages.
In addition to all of the above, there is a new password-protected secure backup option. The new feature will help the user protect their mail copies stored on Google Drive.
