According to TUT.by, students at the Minsk State Linguistic University (MSLU) are collecting signatures on a petition for fair elections.

The document was offered to be signed by Chancellor Vladimir Makei, who came to the university, but he, as the university rector, refused to put his signature.

The students organize themselves in columns and move through the central streets of Minsk. Meanwhile, security officials cordoned off the Moscow State Linguistic University.
