In 2021, Ukraine will receive a vaccine against COVID-19. While most Ukrainians are not willing to pay for it, the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov, said that a vaccine against the disease would have been made.
As Maksim Stepanov pointed out on the air of Savik Shuster’s free speech program, when Ukraine receives the drug, the priority task will be to vaccinate people from risk groups. Channel 24 reports.

He stressed that at first in Ukraine, risk groups will be vaccinated, in particular doctors, teachers and the elderly.
I, thank God, still do not belong to the risk group. First, he was sick … We’ll look there. My task is for us to vaccinate first of all those people who need it,
– said the Minister of Health.
However, when Shuster clarified, Stepanov is ready to personally vaccinate against the coronavirus, because the acquired immunity will last for about 3 months, the minister replied: “Of course I’ll do it.”
Ukraine’s People’s Deputy and President of the Boris Clinic, Mikhail Radutsky, is also ready to be vaccinated against COVID-19. He said he was even ready to go personally to London and get vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine, if the opportunity arises.
Note that 55% of the 2,500 Ukrainians surveyed are ready to get vaccinated against COVID-19, if it’s free. But only 35% are willing to pay for that drug and get vaccinated.

How many COVID-19 vaccines are there in the world?

- Moderna’s vaccine is 94.1% effective and 100% against severe coronavirus. Its only drawback is that it is the most capricious in terms of storage conditions.
- But the effectiveness of the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine is up to 95%, and for the elderly – 94%.
- The Oxford vaccine has been shown to be 70% effective, but it can be stored in the simplest conditions. That is, you can freely enter any country in the world.
