Batkivshchyna leader Yulia Tymoshenko, infected with the coronavirus, said she is still far from a full recovery.
The leader of “Batkivshchyna” Yulia Tymoshenko on September 2 on her Facebook page spoke about her health after being infected with COVID-19.
“Almost two weeks of struggle with a serious illness change the feeling of reality … Today we finally managed to survive the crisis, and although recovery is still far away, now there is an opportunity to return to normal life step by step” Tymoshenko emphasized.
The Popular Deputy also expressed her gratitude to the doctors who participated in her treatment and to all those who supported her.
Tymoshenko’s disease became known on August 23. The politician’s press secretary, Marina Soroka, said Tymoshenko’s condition is considered serious. On August 25, RBK-Ukraine reported that he was connected to a ventilator. Later, the popular deputy of the Batkivshchyna faction, Vadim Ivchenko, denied this information.
Ukraine is ranked 25th in the world in terms of the number of infected. In the country, coronavirus was detected in 125 798 people, including 2656 died and 58 817 recovered. Zand the last day the coronavirus was confirmed in a record number of residents of Ukraine – 2495.
