Dynamo president Igor Surkis denied the information that the club asked Ingulets to postpone the 10th round of the Premier League, but was rejected:
“The situation in the team is really difficult at the moment, there are many players injured and infected with coronavirus. The coaching staff had a limited selection of players, but we decided not to ask for the game to be postponed, but to play with those who are healthy and can enter the field.
I am sure that the president of Ingulets, Alexander Povoroznyuk, would not have refused to postpone the match if we had asked. In Ukraine, everyone supports our clubs in European competitions, they understand where they are and how important it is to earn rating points for our common piggy bank.
But again, we do not consider the option of postponing the game and following the sporting principles. Dynamo will play Ingulets on the road and then start preparations for the game against Barcelona.
