The people’s deputy of the “Servant of the people” Mikhail Radutsky believes that the quarantine of the day off will be easier for Ukrainians than the closure of companies.
In Ukraine, the option of introducing a weekend quarantine is being considered. The people’s deputy from Servant of the People, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee for National Health, Mikhail Radutsky, said this on October 8 on the air of the television channel 1 + 1.
“We cannot impose a rigid quarantine, we all understand that. But we can introduce a weekend quarantine. This is when the family stays at home on weekends, … does not go anywhere, not to restaurants, or to concerts in Kharkov, or anywhere else. This can be tolerated, this is not a closure of companies, it is not a strike, “said the people’s deputy.
According to Radutsky, on October 10, with the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, a meeting will be held in which the issue of quarantine will be considered.
The quarantine in connection with the outbreak of coronavirus infection in Ukraine was introduced on March 12. On May 11, restrictions in the country were relaxed. On May 20, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced the so-called adaptive quarantine: regional authorities were given the right to independently weaken restrictive measures, provided that a number of criteria were met. It was last extended until November 1.
As of July, depending on the epidemic situation in the regions or in individual territorial units set the level “green”, “yellow”, “orange” or “red” epidemic danger from the spread of COVID-19 (each level has its own quarantine restrictions).
In Ukraine, until October 9, 250,538 cases of coronavirus infection were registered, of which a record of 5,804, on the last day. 4,779 COVID-19 patients died, 110,650 patients were cured.
