“Several important decisions have been made to combat the COVID-19 epidemic. Our priorities remain unchanged: we comprehensively strengthen the health system; selectively, where the economy does not suffer noticeably, we strengthen the quarantine; we introduce a real responsibility for leaders for breach of quarantine, “he wrote.

Radutsky listed the decisions made at the meeting:

  1. We are temporarily transferring universities to distance education. This solution is fully supported by the management of educational institutions.
  2. Fall school holidays must start earlier. The start date of the holiday is determined by the local authorities, but it is optimal if the holiday starts next week, before October 15.
  3. In the “red” and “orange” zones, restrictions are imposed on the work of public catering establishments: restaurants, clubs. The establishments must close after 10 pm. The massive parties in the clubs are over. This also applies to all public events.
  4. The president instructed the Ministry of Health to increase stocks of personal protective equipment and medicines that are used in the treatment of complications from the coronavirus disease.
  5. By order of the president in Kiev, Odessa, Mariupol, preparations are beginning for the deployment of large infectious disease hospitals in case of an overload of medical institutions of the first and second wave.
  6. The president instructed to prepare hospitals and departmental institutions subordinate to the Academy of Medical Sciences to receive patients with COVID-19.
  7. We attract interns and seniors from medical colleges to work in infectious disease departments.
  8. By order of the President, the Ministry of Health should increase the number of PCR tests from 30 to 35 thousand to 50 thousand per day.
  9. The president also gave instructions to resolve the problem with the oxygen supply. By the end of the month, local authorities should equip 80% of the beds for coronavirus patients with oxygen.
  10. The only effective way of control over the observance of the mask regime is the introduction of the liability of the owners of the premises.

Radutsky explained that the Verkhovna Rada is invited to consider amendments to the law “On ensuring the health and epidemic welfare of the population”, which provide for a fine of 3400-5100 UAH for companies, entrepreneurs, institutions and organizations that allow people without clothes enter a public building or public transport. respirators or protective masks.



An outbreak of coronavirus infection began in late 2019 in China. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus a pandemic.

In Ukraine, until October 11, more than 261 thousand cases of coronavirus infection were registered, of which 4,768, on the last day. 4,972 COVID-19 patients died, 112,570 patients recovered.
