Vucic surprised by Trump’s words about moving embassy to Jerusalem

Serbia and Kosovo, through the mediation of the United States, agreed to place diplomatic missions in Israel in Jerusalem. However, when US leader Donald Trump publicly announced this decision, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic was greatly surprised. Apparently, this was a complete surprise to him.

Then, during a press conference after the signing of the agreements at the White House, after Trump’s words about the transfer of the Israeli embassies to Jerusalem, Vucic put on a surprised face and began to investigate the documents. Then he looked reproachfully at his delegation and covered his face with his hand.

After meeting with Trump, Vucic began to represent the situation with the returning embassy. In an interview with Serbian journalists, he said that the transfer of the embassy to Jerusalem will take place if Israel respects Serbia’s position, including the issue of not recognizing Kosovo.

Note that Israel, right after the meeting of Kosovo and Serbian leaders with Trump, agreed to recognize Kosovo. In other words, if Vucic’s logic is followed, Israel did not comply with her conditions, and therefore the transfer of the embassy will not take place.

We will remember, recently, that Trump’s words caused surprise among supporters of the US presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, Joe Biden. The American leader said his competitor was using drugs and offered him a test.

Earlier, Trump said that when he hears on the air about collusion with Russia, he turns off the television.
