Voter turnout in local elections in Ukraine, which took place on October 25, 2020, has been known. Previously, it was 37%.

This was announced by the head of the Central Election Commission, Oleg Didenko.

The highest participation was recorded in western Ukraine. The highest result – 46.77% in the Ternopil region, the lowest – 31.67% – in the Donetsk region.

Note that at 1:00 p.m. the turnout was 16%.

Local elections were held in Ukraine today, where they elected deputies from the regional, district and village councils, as well as village, village and city chiefs.

Let us remember, the National Police opened 28 criminal cases for acts of violations in local elections. Events have been recorded when citizens tried to remove their ballot or damage it.

Previously, the CEC called for elections of deputies to regional, district and village councils, as well as heads of municipalities, villages and cities, one of the most difficult in the history of Ukraine. What complicates the process is the fact that the elections are being held in a pandemic.

In addition, the Voters Committee of Ukraine reported new violations in local elections.
