Zelensky said he had the text of the scandalous Constitutional Court decision before publication.
The presidential representative in the KSU said that he personally told the head of state that the judges had made the appropriate decision.
The text of the scandalous decision of the Constitutional Court on electronic declaration was in the Presidency on October 27, that is, the day the decision was made. The individual judges “shared” it with the president. This was announced on Wednesday, November 11, by the presidential representative in the Constitutional Court, Fedor Venislavsky, in an interview with Radio Libertad.
“I will tell you a secret, since the decision was voted, some judges shared what it said and we understood that the decision was unfounded,” Venislavsky said.
At the same time, Zelensky’s representative in the Constitutional Court denies that the president knew in advance of the specified decision.
Zelensky, he said, began to understand that such a decision would be on the night of October 26, “when the issue of considering the law appeared on the website of the Constitutional Court.”
The president’s representative also said that he personally told the head of state that the judges had made the right decision.
“To say that the president was furious is to say nothing at all. Because he understood perfectly that we are talking about a systemic attack by the Constitutional Court on the entire system of anti-corruption bodies,” Venislavsky said.
We recall, the presidential representative in the Constitutional Court Fedor Venislavsky believes that the best option to solve the constitutional crisis in Ukraine is the voluntary resignation of the judges of the Constitutional Court (CC), who voted in favor of abolishing anti-corruption legislation.
Earlier it was reported that the parliament was considering two options to get out of the situation: “soft” – a bill on the immediate return of statements and “hard” – the option proposed by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
