The State Investigation Office of Ukraine, as part of a criminal investigation, in which Denis Yermak, brother of the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, appears, is awaiting the results of the examinations, said the prosecutor General Irina Venediktova.

The State Investigation Office of Ukraine is continuing a pre-trial investigation in the framework of a criminal proceeding, in which Denis Yermak, brother of the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, appears. Attorney General Irina Venediktova stated this in an interview with Savik Shuster.

According to her, at this time, the RRB is awaiting the results of the examinations, which must establish whether the records have been edited.

“As for the RRB, the examinations are now being carried out, to the extent that the tapes have been edited, not edited, to the extent that voices can be identified. Interrogations of all the people announced and sounded on the tapes, “Venediktova said, noting that the office is also likely to be waiting for test results.

“We will wait, while the investigation develops,” concluded the Attorney General.

On May 29, the Popular Deputy of the People’s Servant, Geo Leros, published a recording in which Denis Yermak allegedly analyzes the appointment of people to public office.

Andriy Yermak threatened Leros with an investigation. His brother called the tapes “slicing” and the work of scammers.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on May 20 that they wanted to blackmail him with these recordings.

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) opened criminal proceedings for the possible commission of corruption crimes. SBU officer Sergei Shumsky and lawyer Dmitry Shtanko, who appeared on the recordings, testified that on April 5 they testified before the NABU about the acts of fraud and corruption by the Ermakov brothers. Shtanko claimed that it was worth meeting Yermak Jr. applicants for government positions up to $ 20,000

On May 13, it emerged that the case was transferred for a pre-trial investigation to the Security Service of Ukraine. In the case of the “Leros tapes” handed over to the National Police, no corruption was found.

In an interview with NV, which was published on May 28, SAP chief Nazar Kholodnitsky said that prosecutors “got it”: Shumsky and Shtanko are lying. SAP declined to investigate.

On June 2, the Supreme Anticorruption Court ordered the NABU to open criminal proceedings.
