UZ will change the rules of baggage transport and passenger identification

Now in Ukrzaliznytsia there are old rules and regulations that have not yet been canceled.

JSC Ukrzaliznytsia plans to simplify the requirements of the necessary documents to board the car, said the head of the company Vladimir Zhmak. Interfax-Ukraine writes about this on Saturday, January 16, referring to the program “Ukraine with Tigran Martirosyan” on the TV channel “Ukraine 24”.

“We will soon make a decision to simplify the requirements for documents presented by a passenger. We will say that Diya will operate, a photocopy of the document will also be a sufficient basis for admitting a passenger in the transport,” Zhmak said.

In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia will strengthen control over compliance with the baggage allowance by passengers.

“Now we will pay more attention to ensuring that current standards are met. Because the transport of unpaid luggage also causes us losses,” said the head of the company.

Zhmak also stressed that the control over the transport of luggage is the responsibility of the driver, in addition, the head of the train is also responsible for compliance with this rule.
