Democratic presidential candidate Joseph Biden has won the election in the “wavering” state of Michigan. There he must take 16 electoral votes.

CNN predicts this result after the statewide vote count.

Following his victory in Michigan, Biden has 253 electoral votes and President Donald Trump has 213.

During the 2016 elections in this state, Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton.

Winners remain undecided in 5 other states: Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Alaska.

Earlier, Donald Trump went to court with a request to stop the counting of votes in Michigan.

Bill Stepien, election campaign manager for current US President Donald Trump, said they will demand a recount of votes in Wisconsin.

We add that former Vice President Joe Biden received the highest number of votes in US history.
