On Wednesday, November 11, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduced a weekend quarantine in the country, which, among other things, limits the holding of mass and cultural events.
These restrictions will not affect the championship of Ukraine in the elite division; UPL matches will continue to be played according to the schedule, as they are played without spectators. At the same time, First and Second League matches, the celebration of which is prohibited on weekends, were subject to Cabinet restrictions. In this regard, the PFL is tentatively considering the option of postponing midweek games. The clubs have already been notified and are ready to change their matches to weekdays.
The weekend quarantine states that only grocery stores will be able to work in Ukraine from 00:00 hours on Saturday to 00:00 hours on Monday; supermarkets, at least 60% of which is dedicated to the sale of food; pharmacy; transport; refueling; veterinary pharmacies. The catering establishments will only work to take away.
