Due to an unknown disease in the Indian city of Eluru (Andhra Pradesh), which is not associated with the coronavirus, 800 people have already been affected. Previously, the cause of the disease was intoxication.

This was announced by Andhra Pradesh West Godavari County Inspector Dolla Joshi Roy, The Guardian reports.

Since December 5, 848 cases of the disease have been registered.

“We did the coronavirus test and we got negative results. So we know it’s not him,” Doll Joshi Roy said.

On the morning of December 7, it was reported that 315 citizens were hospitalized with symptoms of an undiagnosed illness. A resident of the southern city of Eluru died of an unknown illness. So it was not ruled out that there was a massive infection as a result of air pollution or the use of inferior products.

Let us remember that the Greek government has decided to extend the blockade in the country until January 7. The restrictions include night curfews and bans on traveling outside of the prefectures of origin.
