Ukroboronprom will be liquidated in the next 6-7 months
The company will be liquidated in July next year and a new defense holding company should be created before the end of the year.
Defense concern Ukroboronprom could be liquidated by mid-summer 2021, the press service of the concern reported Thursday, December 24.
The transformation of concern should begin after the Verkhovna Rada adopts Bill No. 3822 on the peculiarities of the reform companies of the defense industrial complex. Its adoption is expected by the end of April 2021.
“During the year, an inventory of all property and intellectual property must be carried out. By the end of June 2021, the liquidation of the Ukroboronprom Group of Companies and the creation of a new defense holding company in the form of a public limited company,” he said the company.
The creation of a holding company to replace Ukroboronprom should be completed in 2021.
Note that the other day at Ukroboronprom launched the corporatization of the company.
On December 3, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed a new director of Ukroboronprom. It was the former head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Yuri Gusev.
