The issue of the introduction of special COVID passports, which will be issued after vaccination against the coronavirus, is under the control of the Ministry of Health.
Mass vaccination against coronavirus in Ukraine will start in February. Along with the vaccine, Ukrainians will receive vaccination passports in the same way as in the European Union. This was announced on Thursday, January 14, by the Minister of Health, Maxim Stepanov, on the air of the television channel Ukraine 24.
Stepanov pointed out that, with a high probability, the vaccine against coronavirus infection will arrive in Ukraine in February.
“We have taken serious measures with the countries that manufacture these vaccines. I think that in February, which will arrive in two weeks, we will really begin mass vaccination in our country. And everything you say about passports, about all the other documents.” , which will be received by the citizens of the European Union, will also be received by the citizens of Ukraine, “said Stepanov.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Chief Medical Officer Viktor Lyashko said that each family doctor would issue an international certificate of vaccination against COVID-19.
