Bill No. 3796 may expand the list of animals that must be registered, including parrots

Bill No. 3796, registered in July, can expand the list of animals that must be registered

Ukrainians will have to register all pets through private intermediaries in case the Verkhovna Rada adopts bill no. 3796 “Amendment of certain laws of Ukraine regarding the responsible treatment of domestic and wild animals in captivity.” This was reported by the public organization League of Antitrust on the social network.

According to her, the bill No. 3796 registered in July can expand the list of animals that must be registered: not only livestock, but also pets: dogs, cats, parrots and even hamsters.

“The registration will be done through private intermediaries, who are unlikely to participate in such activities for free, and to register, you will have to pay money to these boards,” emphasizes the Antimonopoly League.

The experts made an appeal to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and the Antitrust Committee with a call to give their conclusions on this bill.

Let us remind you that earlier the Verkhovna Rada amended the Air Code, which introduces a fee for each passenger leaving Ukraine.
