The main loser of 2020, the Ukrainians called the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
This is demonstrated by the results of a survey conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation. Note that the title of “politician of the year” was also awarded to the head of state. Yet twice as many respondents called Zelensky a “loser.” According to the survey results, 14.5% of those surveyed named Zelensky the politician of the year, while 28% a loser.
The next politician of the year in Ukraine after Zelensky was the fifth president, Petro Poroshenko, and the people’s deputy, leader of the Opposition Platform – For Life, Viktor Medvedchuk, co-chair of the Life Opportunity Program, Yuriy Boyko, and the director of Batkivshchyna Yulia Tymoshenko.
Recall that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy became a disappointment in 2020 for more than 40% of Ukrainians.
At the same time, the president’s press secretary, Yulia Mendel, said that Zelensky was recognized as the outgoing politician of the year.
As OBOZREVATEL reported, the Office of the President named those responsible for making Volodymyr Zelenskyy the “disappointment of the year.”
