Ukrainians must fill out returns and pay taxes: for what and how much

[ad_1]

Ukrainians must file tax returns and pay additional income taxes before May 1. For example, for the lease of real estate you must pay 18% and for the sale of the house, 5%.

This is established in the Tax Code of Ukraine. The income statement is filed with the tax office at the place of its registration.

Why do you have to pay taxes

  • income from independent professional activities (hairdressers, plumbers, copywriters, etc.) – 18%;

  • rental income from real estate – 18%;

  • profit from securities – 18%;

  • remuneration and other payments under the agreement: 18%;

  • gifts and undirected charity: 18%;

  • income from the sale of real estate – 5%.

“If a taxpayer, according to the rules of current legislation, is obliged (has the right) to file an annual return, but at that time does not live in the place of registration (registry), then this report form continues to be sent to the supervisory authority at the tax address, that is, at the place of registration according to the passport data “, – explained at the tax office.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Ukraine may release a zero declaration in the near future. All will be offered to legalize property received from shadow income. In this case, you will have to pay a small tax.
