Ukrainians doubt the need for a free economic zone in Donbass
During the poll, which, by decision of President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, was carried out during the local elections on October 25, Ukrainians responded positively to the five questions. However, opinions on the free economic zone in Donbas were divided.
The data from the exit poll was published by the Sociological Group “Rating”.
According to the survey, the responses were distributed as follows:
- Do you support the idea of life imprisonment for corruption on an especially large scale? In favor – 81%, against – 16%
- Do you support the creation of a free economic zone in Donbass? In favor – 45%, against – 43%.
- Do you support reducing the number of popular deputies to 300? In favor – 95%, against – 4%.
- Do you support the legalization of cannabis for medical purposes, to reduce pain in critically ill patients? In favor – 70%, against – 24%.
- Do you support Ukraine’s right to use the security guarantees defined by the Budapest Memorandum to restore its state sovereignty and territorial integrity? In favor – 78%, against – 13%.
The exit poll was conducted by the Sociological Group “Rating” at 400 polling stations.
As RBC-Ukraine reported, by decision of President Volodymyr Zelensky, a poll was conducted during the local elections on October 25, in which Ukrainians were asked to answer five questions.
Note that, according to the KIIS poll, the opinions of Ukrainians regarding President Volodymyr Zelensky’s decision to conduct a poll during the local elections on October 25 were divided in half. Some respondents (44%) believe that this is a sincere intention, 44% – that it is a political technology.
