Ukrainian stars protest under the Cabinet of Ministers

Representatives of the Ukrainian show business came out with a protest under the Cabinet of Ministers. They are outraged by the ban on concert activities and demand to quickly develop a program that will save the music industry during the quarantine restrictions.

The singer, television presenter and actress Olya Polyakova, as promised yesterday, September 2, came to picket the Cabinet of Ministers. The star is outraged by the quarantine restrictions, which is why, according to her, concerts by Ukrainian artists are canceled even if all security measures are followed. She is also not happy with the fact that the Russian artist was allowed to perform a concert.

Polyakova is outraged by the selective permission to host the show. So, she noted that a concert by the artist of the Russian Federation JONY recently took place in Kiev. While her performance in Bila Tserkva in the open air and regarding social distance is a great question.

“If you give permission to someone, then you must give permission to everyone,” said the singer.

He also added that clear instructions are needed for artists and event organizers.

“If we don’t knock, they won’t open it. Once they knock, another time, and the third time we’ll take a big stick and knock down the door,” Polyakova said.

We add that there are other Ukrainian stars under the Cabinet of Ministers. In particular, the rapper Alyona Alyona, the singer Alina Pash and the showman Andrey Dzhedzhula are present. In total, about 100 people are protesting.

People hold signs: “You are not listening to us”, “We are against discrimination”, “Cabinet, do not violate the constitution”.

The protesters demand the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denis Shmyhal, the creation of a working group with the participation of representatives of the music industry, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of the Interior to develop a program to improve the crisis.

Recall that the day before, Polyakova posted an emotional video on Instagram. The quarantine restrictions for artists bothered her.
