In the Turkish resort town of Mugla, near Bodrum, 29-year-old Ukrainian Christina Novitskaya was found dead in her home.
They found her sitting on a chair with a plastic bag over her head and her hands handcuffed behind her back. According to the investigation, he died a few days ago.
Novitskaya has not contacted her mother who lives in Ukraine since December 30, and on January 2, the woman asked her neighbors to check if everything was in order with her daughter. When the girl did not open the doors, they called the police, who entered the house with the help of a locksmith.
The Ukrainian woman lived alone in a rural town in the Eskichesme area near Bodrum, where celebrities like to relax in the summer (for example, President Vladimir Zelensky rested in a local hotel immediately after taking office). In winter, in those parts it is quite deserted, especially during the coronavirus epidemic and the New Year’s quarantine (in Turkey, a complete lockdown from December 31 to January 3).
Novitskaya’s neighbor was the famous Turkish actor and TV presenter Alp Kirsan (he has apartments in the same rural town), who wrote about the tragedy with the Ukrainian woman on his Twitter, and the news was spread by the Turkish media.
It is true that Kirsan called her Russian, but in the comments it was corrected, specifying that Novitskaya is a citizen of Ukraine.
The actor accompanied his tweet with the hashtag #KadinaSiddet – “no violence against women.” According to one version, the girl could have been killed by her boyfriend. But other versions are also being considered.
We will remember, recently in Turkey a tourist from Transcarpathia died from the coronavirus, who was on vacation at a resort with his family.
We also talked about the beating of a Ukrainian model in a Turkish resort.
