The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry protested against changes in the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the recognition of “documents” issued by the “DPR / LPR”. The decree removed the requirement to present Ukrainian documents when entering the Russian Federation.

Reports from the Foreign Ministry website.

In Putin’s decree of 2017, which recognized CADLO “documents”, there was initially a requirement, at the same time as them, when entering Russia, to show certificates issued by Ukraine or a stateless document. Now these redactions have been removed and for entry it is sufficient to have “LPR / DPR documents”.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine considers that these steps by the Russian side are another element of aggression against Ukraine, directed against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state, an open proof of the Kremlin’s intentions to continue the war against Ukraine. not only by armed means, but also legal, “the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

It was also noted that the Kremlin’s decisions do not correspond to Russia’s obligations under the Minsk agreements. Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry called on the Russian Federation to cancel all aggressive decrees related to Ukraine and remove their consequences.

Recall that in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, the Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Alexei Reznikov, stressed that to resolve the situation in Donbass, the Russian Federation must cancel a series of decrees of President Vladimir Putin. In particular, it is necessary to cancel the decrees on the issuance of Russian passports to Ukrainians.

It was also reported that the plan for the settlement in Donbass developed by Ukraine would provide for the self-dissolution of the so-called “DPR” and “LPR”.
