On weekends in Ukraine, work in cafes, bars, restaurants will be prohibited, except for work at home or take away; as well as the work of the commercial and entertainment center, gyms, swimming pools and gyms.
On November 12, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine published Resolution No. 1100 on the introduction of the “weekend quarantine”.
The document introduces changes to government decree No. 641 of July 22.
From 00.00 hours on Saturday until 00.00 hours on Monday from November 14 to 30, the work of cafes, bars, restaurants will be prohibited, except at home or to take away; as well as the work of the shopping and entertainment center, fitness clubs, swimming pools and gyms.
In commercial establishments, only stores are allowed to operate, of which 60% or more sell food, fuel, medicines, veterinary drugs and feed. At the same time, you can deliver products to your home.
The work of financial institutions, post offices, veterinary clinics, gas stations (without food areas) and service stations is also allowed.
The activities of cultural institutions, cultural events are prohibited, except film and audio filming, provided that access to the set is restricted. All participants in the shoot must wear masks.
Through this resolution, the Cabinet of Ministers proposes to introduce at least two hours, from 10:00 to 12:00, to serve the elderly and people with disabilities.
An outbreak of coronavirus infection began in late 2019 in China. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus a pandemic. As of November 12, 500,865 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Ukraine, of which 11057 – for the last day… 9,145 COVID-19 patients died, 227,694 people recovered.
Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers decided on November 11 to introduce a “weekend quarantine” in the country. Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said we are talking about three weekends, starting next weekend. The media wrote that said quarantine will last until December 31 of this year.
Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said the country would not endure a harsh blockade.
