The first round of the European competition of the new season has finished, after which there have been changes in the UEFA coefficient table.
Dynamo, Shakhtar and Zarya, representing Ukraine in Europe, achieved a victory of three – the Donetsk team beat Real – which was converted to 0.4 points. This result allowed our association to maintain position 11 in the table.
However, Scotland breathes behind Ukraine, having managed to overtake Turkey in the table after the first round, practically catching up on the ranking of our country. Austria, with which Ukraine is fighting for 10th place, also scored 0.4 points.
Recall that the 11th place in the UEFA coefficient table allows the country’s champion to get directly into the group stage of the Champions League. In turn, from position 12, the champion must already play in the tournament classification.
