Ukraine ranked 5th in Europe for new COVID-19 cases per day

Ukraine ranked fifth in Europe for new COVID-19 cases on September 18. In terms of the total number of confirmed cases of the disease, Ukraine already ranks 25th in the world.

This is evidenced by data from the Worldometer website, which tracks statistics on coronavirus in countries around the world.

So, during the last day in European countries, most of the new coronavirus cases were confirmed in France, Russia, Spain, Great Britain and Ukraine. In the corresponding world rankings, Ukraine is ranked 15th.

The leaders of the European anti-rating in terms of the total number of detected infections are still Russia, Spain and the United Kingdom, Ukraine occupies 7th place. In the corresponding world rankings, Ukraine is ranked 25th.

As RBC-Ukraine wrote, the Ministry of Health predicts that there will be a rapid increase in coronavirus diseases in Ukraine.

In addition, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine predicted that by the end of October there will be 360 ​​thousand infected with COVID-19.
