Ukraine discusses supply of coronavirus vaccine with Germany
The health ministers’ negotiations were devoted to providing Ukraine with a coronavirus vaccine.
The head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov, discussed with the German Minister of Health the provision of Ukraine with a vaccine against the coronavirus. This was announced by Ukraine’s ambassador to Germany, Andriy Melnik, on Twitter on Thursday, September 10.
The ministers’ talks took place on the day of a telephone conversation between President Volodymyr Zelensky and Chancellor Angela Merkel.
“The focus is on providing Ukraine with a vaccine against COVID-19. We count on the solidarity of our German friends!”

Remember that earlier, Ukrainian scientists won a grant to develop a vaccine against COVID-19. Andrey Sibirny, a resident of Lviv, will receive 10 million UAH for the development of a coronavirus vaccine.
