The Ministry of Digital Development is preparing new digital tools in the fight against the coronavirus in Ukraine together with the Ministry of Health. For example, an electronic prescription is entered.

The head of the Finance Ministry, Mikhail Fedorov, announced this on his Facebook page.

In particular, a person will appear in each fundamental hospital who will be responsible for updated information on the number of people infected with coronavirus, hospitalized and the number of beds. A chatbot will appear based on this information.

In addition, through the chatbot, ambulances can find out how many places are left and where to take the patient.

“Thanks to the tool, ambulance dispatchers will understand where to send a patient for hospitalization. In the near future, we will launch a pilot project based on a region,” he wrote.

The Vdoma application will be updated. People may indicate symptoms to be managed by the Public Health Center.

“Electronic references for PCR tests. The tool is already working in polyclinics, we are preparing functionality for ambulances and hospitals. This will allow to monitor the test results and the duration of the test,” said Fedorov.

According to him, the service has already been developed and is available to medical professionals. Patients can receive a referral and electronic services in accordance with this referral.

The ministry is introducing an electronic prescription for antibiotics, which will reduce the chaotic use of antibiotics on its own, and will also prepare a strategy to introduce a QR system to monitor the situation in public places, the minister added.

Therefore, in Ukraine, they will start to notify citizens about staying in a room with a COVID-19 patient.
