In Ukraine, since January 1, 2021, water rates have increased in Kiev, Dnipro, Odessa, Kharkov, Lvov, Ivano-Frankovsk, etc. For example, in Kiev now you have to pay 13.44 UAH for water supply and 9.55 UAH for drainage. In total, this is 22.99 UAH for every cubic meter of water.
This is stated in the decision of the National Commission in the Spheres of Energy and Public Services (NEURC). Prices in the capital will rise to UAH 14.74 for water supply and UAH 9.55 for drainage. In total, you will have to pay already 27.35 UAH for each cubic meter.
This price increase is explained by a 12% increase in wages and a 12% increase in electricity prices. In addition, reagents have to be paid an additional 11%, repairs have increased by 40% and capital investments by 15%.
