The national police closed the criminal case against Joseph Biden, which was initiated at the request of former attorney general Viktor Shokin. This was announced on Tuesday, November 10, by Ukrinform, citing an informed source from the Attorney General’s Office.

“The National Police closed the criminal case against Joseph Biden, which was started at the request of former attorney general Viktor Shokin,” the source said.

The agency interlocutor added that the case was registered under the article on interference in the activities of a statesman (article 344 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) at the State Investigation Office pursuant to a judicial decision.

The bureau subsequently referred him for investigation to the Pechersk National Police Department, which closed the case on September 23 this year.
