Lugansk “Zarya” midfielder Dmitry Khomchenovskiy shared his impressions of the group, which included his team.
“Today we have especially brought the whole team together to watch the draw. I will say that you can play with the teams that lost us in the draw. We have already met Braga in the qualifying phase. We will meet the rest personally.” We hope for the best and we will try to achieve a positive result, ”said the player.
Lugansk captain, goalkeeper Nikita Shevchenko, was also pleased with the draw.
“Everything was normal. We will play with good teams. We are not in the group of death. Yes, we can highlight the leader. This is Leicester. The rest are teams of the same level. I think it will be interesting.”
Zarya Managing Director Stanislav Oganov also commented on the results of the Europa League group stage draw.
“The teams have a strong enough level. A good group, we will try to leave it. We will fight with all the teams. I don’t want to comment on the strength of the opponents, Viktor Skripnik knows more about them. We are quite capable of leaving this group,” he said Oganov.
We remind you that yesterday the draw for the group stage of the Champions League was held, after which Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kiev were in the same groups with serious rivals such as Juventus and Real Madrid.
We previously wrote that the Executive Committee of the Union of European Football Federations (UEFA), given the successful celebration of the UEFA Super Cup in Budapest on 24 September, approved on Thursday the partial return of fans to the stands at matches under the auspices of the organization. In countries where local authorities allow it, stadiums can be nearly a third full.
