In Ukraine, a gradual decrease in quarantine began. The removal of quarantine restrictions on rail transport will begin with suburban trains. Ukrzaliznytsia has already prepared a plan, which consists of two stages.

In the first stage, 745 suburban trains will return on the road to ensure the transportation of citizens to work places during peak hours. The second stage foresees the appointment of another 571 trains, which means the complete restoration of suburban rail traffic.
Please note that these steps may be implemented after the government lifts the ban on regular passenger traffic.
What is happening now
So far, Ukrzaliznytsia’s specialists are verifying the performance of cash counters and payment terminals, carrying out technical inspections of equipment and rolling stock, as well as carrying out repair work on stations and trains.
Remember that after the quarantine restrictions are lifted, several restrictions will be introduced on the subway. In particular, more than 100 people will not be allowed to enter the cars, and the exit from the station will be strictly controlled.
