Two servicemen died in Donbass, two were injured

The separatists targeted the positions of the Ukrainian army near Vodyanoye. The soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had to respond to the provocations of the enemy.

At midnight, the separatists twice violated the ceasefire, two Ukrainian soldiers were injured incompatible with life. This was reported by the press center at the JFO headquarters on Friday, October 30.

The separatists, using multi-system grenade launchers and small arms, opened directed fire twice at Ukrainian army positions near Vodyanoye. The units of the Joint Forces responded to the provocations of fire from the enemy “forcing the Russian occupation forces to return to the regime of silence”.

The day before, five violations of the ceasefire were registered. The bombardment was carried out near Novomikhaylovka and Starognatovka with grenade launchers of various systems. In the Agua area, the enemy opened fire twice with small arms and a handheld anti-tank grenade launcher.

Then, as a result of the selective firing of the positions of the Ukrainian defenders with small arms, a soldier of the Joint Forces received a gunshot wound.

In turn, near the Zolotoe-4 settlement, the enemy used an unmanned aerial vehicle to launch a VOG-17 projectile on the positions of the Joint Forces. Another Ukrainian soldier was wounded by shrapnel.

According to the OSCE, previously in Donbass the number of violations of the regime of silence was halved. At the same time, not a single violation was recorded near the three areas for the withdrawal of forces and equipment: Stanytsia Luhanska, Zolote and Petrovsky.

It was also reported that Ukraine will prepare new proposals for Donbass and convene the TCG. Along with the joint development of an action plan with the participation of Russia and the OSCE, Ukraine will also prepare its own project to unblock the TCG negotiations, said the head of the Ukrainian delegation.
