Volodymyr Zelenskyy calls on the People’s Servant to support a complete reboot of the Constitutional Court, but MPs also have other options.
The crisis around the Constitutional Court continues. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy simply proposes to dissolve the court and recognize his decision to cancel criminal liability for inaccurate statements as worthless.
But also in the Rada there is a bill of simple restoration of norms annulled by the court. It is proposed that the tribunal itself not be dissolved.

The president insists
Zelensky recorded a special audio message for the Servant of the People faction, which was immediately made public. In it, he called on the deputies “to make a tough decision with respect to the Constitutional Court.”
“If I decide that the solution to the crisis is only possible through the proposed law, I must definitely support. If we find a less conflictual path, there will be a different solution, “Zelensky said.
According to him, the decision of the judges of the Constitutional Court “in a matter of hours put the country on the brink of disaster” and represents “a direct and fast path to bloodshed, to confrontation in the streets.”
“Can’t you see that other parts, that yesterday were supposed to disappear into oblivion, turn away and laugh? … Today everyone is looking at us. And we will show that we are a true party that knows how to unite in difficult times, or we will show that we are equal to everyone else. We are easily divided into factions and we are easily sold, ”Zelensky encouraged the servants.
Alternative solution
Verkhovna Rada President Dmitry Razumkov has prepared a bill proposing to restore the rights of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, canceled by decision of the Constitutional Court.
NAPK will again be able to keep records and promulgate statements, monitor and verify them, and monitor the way of life of officials.
At the same time, it is proposed to instruct the government to develop a separate bill on the creation of a system to prevent corruption in relation to judges, as well as a mechanism to bring them to justice.
According to Razumkov’s idea, it will be possible to return the electronic declaration in its original form. And then in normal mode, change the law in 2 months.
“The Verkhovna Rada must demonstrate its consolidated position. I think that decision should be taken in this plenary week ”, believes the speaker.
And what are the judges?
While the Rada thinks what to do with the decision of the Constitutional Court on the declarations, the judges do not think to stop. They have already begun to consider the constitutionality of the land market law. That is, they can cancel another reform.
Ihor Slidenko, judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, affirms that on Monday the Grand Chamber of the Constitutional Court continues to consider constitutional submission, whose essence is reduced exclusively to the interpretation of the provisions of the Basic Law: land as the main national wealth.
According to him, the interpretation of the concept of “land” as the object of property rights is not key in this point of view.
The servants of the town, led by the leader of the mono-majority, David Arakhamia, decided to visit the Constitutional Court to find out why there was such a rush.
“I will ask the pitchmaster, Mr. Tupitsky, to take a 10 minute break and explain why this is exactly how everything happens in super-turbo mode, and everything is closed and opaque,” Arakhamia explained his reasons.
Regarding the possible ways to resolve the constitutional crisis in the country, Arahamia said that a voluntary resignation of the judges of the Constitutional Court in a context of loss of public confidence or the resignation of Tupitsky would be a good step. However, the chairman of the SN faction sees this option as unlikely.
At the same time, Arakhamia predicts that there will be votes in the Rada on Vladimir Zelensky’s initiative to dissolve the Constitutional Court.
